Needs to be said at least once in this thread: Never trust a floor jack and put any part of your body underneath a car that isn't on jack stands.

Unless you get a mid-grade floor jack someone else doesn't want anymore and partially rebuild it using You Tube as your guide.
That is a floor jack you can trust.
