there is no denying that he's the best in the league, but he's a 31 year old(that we know of) second basemen with over 1400 games played including the playoffs

nah let's give him the Pujols treatment and hate ourselves for 10 years

He's 31. A 10 year deal makes zero sense but of course the Yankees will make the deal.
