I'm in Houston now with some corp execs. He will resign today. They are looking at Del Rio.

He will be gone by the end of the year but knowing McNair I'd be surprised if he's out before the season ends unless its completely his choice. It does look that way though from that tweet

Local sports radio is suggesting it is just his usual day after press conference. Timing is obviously off due to the Thurs night game.

Since his mini stroke I've said all along that this will be the out the Texans will use. Allowing him to leave due to medical reasons.

Looks like this is just his regular press conf

Should have used that stroke as an excuse not to return to sidelines for the remainder of the year. Probably would have saved his job. He had another year left.
