He's flirted with Ole Miss for awhile now. I'm not surprised by this

This must explain the Valentine/Thomas stories as of late.

the last time I drove through the OKC area, the local sports radio were talking about him and everyone seemed pretty pissed that OU was letting him go to LSU and not trying to flip him
perhaps that has changed since then

We need dlineman bad. Hopefully coaches are staying with him and reassuring him that he is a high priority for us.

Guys his mother has cancer. He is probably looking to stay close to her.
She loves Les and Brick so we will see what happens.

His mom is in our prayers.
Could you please modify subject so that we represent the LSU fanbase well?
Not saying it's negative, but let's support the young man through his difficult decision and what he is going through.
THANK YOU!

We really need some top talent on both lines. We are sill heavy on skill players need some beef.

Clark is a great athlete and you really can't fault him for wanting to stay home if that's what he chooses.
Brick has been busy though, doing work sons. Valentine, Street, Malik McDowell, Chad Thomas...I think he lands 2 of these guys.
Also means they might move Beckwith to DE and offer Terry McCray at SLB.

Losing Clark would not be good.

Dammit.
Hope his mom gets healthy, though.

He's been flirting awhile now. I wouldn't be surprised if he did leave.

Prayers sent. Hope he stays but respect his decision either way. Family is #1. Whatever the choice. Work hard and make mama proud.

Thank you, way to keep it classy Oly.
Let's all represent LSU well in the coming months and show respect to the recruits that are considering LSU as their home the next 3-5 years. I'm from up north, but love the fire and energy that residents have from The Boot. There have been 4 times that I've visited your great state and everytime I admire your faith, sense of family, love of football, and amazing food. Start strong, finish stronger!
