They can't get every Texas recruit.
Plus, we wouldn't have to play him every year.
So I'm ok with him going to UT.

Yeah, but with the playoff system, it's reasonable to speculate the road to an National Championship would likely go through Saban often.

Saban would kill it in Texas. It would be a waste of time to put that many man hours into recruiting Louisiana when he has Texas mostly to himself.
He would still recruit LA but not to the degree that he is now.
