I would say JJ had all the support he needed.
Running game was a disappointment though.

The line sucked arse. There's been enough JJ bashing on here to last a lifetime, but to argue that he was somehow a terrible first year starter is fricking retarded. The sacks were a bit much, but his stats and wins were respectable. He definitely regressed.

Does you no good to have all those offensive weapons, and difficult to run, when you have a QB that only looks at one receiver when he does pass, never ever ever throws the ball down field, is inaccurate when he does throw (consistently threw it at the receivers feet making it difficult to even run a screen to the WR), have an OC that sends 2 guys max out for a pass, and allows the defense to put 9 guys in the box every down except when it's 3rd and long and we have to pass and then they drop everyone and make the idiot complete a 4 yard pass on 3rd and 10.
