Depends on what I personally wanted. Take the $$$ and play for several years? Maybe, provided I saved it accordingly and didn't get injured ending my football playing days. Don't buy a bunch of million dollar homes, cars, etc..... Won't be playing football forever.


Get the degree and use it after football? It certainly couldn't hurt.

To answer your question, personally I'd get the degree and then go. Look at Reid. Great example. He's got a little girl, he got his degree, he's lighting it up in San Fran, he also is very smart so I think he'd be smart with his money.

I'm not trying to bash any former Tiger at all, it's just a fact that some people aren't careful with their money. That can be said in any workplace.
