That was two years ago and the only reason that Bama even got back into it that year was because he whined his way back into it. Get real.

I don't want him gone. Be the best, you have to beat the best. All I want is for Texas to cause Bama to have to pay him $8MM a year.
Imagine how 'appreciated' he and his wife are going to feel when they lose, if he is getting $8MM a year - hell, might even get a brick through the window.
The pressure on Saban, if he holds Bama up for a huge raise, would be epic and I would love to see him trying to 'process' that pressure.

No doubt. He's gone. He's hated Bama everyday for 7 years. He hates them bad enough to still be out recruiting for them this week. He took one out of Louisiana and got another today from a top JUCO. I'm sure they've asked him about the rumors before they committed.
When will we stop this? It makes us all look pathetic to every year speculate...more like HOPE...that the guy leaves. Let's just BEAT the guy on the field instead of thinking our best chance is if he leaves.

The SEC teams were doing the same thing every year when he was at LSU.
One thing is for sure, he will continue to recruit for Alabama no matter what happens. When the shoe drops (Mack retiring) it'll be a big hire.
They will not be dumping Mack unless they know they have their guy wrapped up, and it won't be some re-tread hire or an up-and-coming unknown commodity.

#1-if tejas beats Baylor, mack doesn't leave, esp is osu loses and they win the big 12
#2- saban isn't leaving Alabama.
