Exactly. Being that it's plastic, i was thinking about heating it up and trying to dig it out.

That could just melt it if it is plastic and it will stick to the threads better.
Can you possibly tap a tiny flathead screwdriver into the head and back it out that way? I would try heating up the tip of the screwdriver, putting it in the hole, and tapping it until it sits in the head. Then twist it out
Does it have threads, or is it just a plug? If it is threaded, is it still caught on the threads at all?
