This is a total lie/marketing scheme...there is no clinical evidence to suggest that bracing prevents ACL injuries in non-previously injured ACL's. There is data that suggests knee braces help stabilize the joint in an already injured ACL, but prophylactic bracing to prevent ACL injuries has never been proven. If you link an article that proves me wrong I would like to read it. Otherwise, brace or no brace, Mett's knee was gonna get jacked up regardless.

Ill answer two questions. First off, it was the left leg that suffered the injury, the stepping leg with the brace and second, it has been proven that these braces help stabilize the knee. I NEVER said in all cases they prevent an injury, however at times when players are rolled on by 320lb. lineman, I have learned that these braces have saved careers. I cant prove 100% that another brace would have absolutely prevented Mett's injury, no one can for sure, however, I can speak for the differences in the product and one is better than the other. Whoever stated that there is no data proving these braces help stabilize the joint and prevent ligament tear is a fool. Tell that to an orthopedic surgery and he will laugh at you. If that were the case, why does every football team, college and NFL, wear them?
