Bama spends lots of money wherever they go, and it's beyond impractical to snub a top 4 BCS team over the #14 team, even if it's LSU. If a team is in the Top 4 of the BCS, they HAVE to go to a BCS Bowl, by rule.
Alabama is in the top 4, has no games left to play, and with Auburn/Mizzou playing in the SEC Championship game, they won't move any lower.
So yeah, it's impossible.
