LSU's Recruiting Budget...

Is this public information? I just read on this board that Vanderbilt has a larger recruiting budget than LSU. Is this factual? If so, please provide link. I can't fathom LSU not having a national top 10 budget for recruiting. Is there some sort of rule? Can TAF fund this subsidy? If anyone is in the know, please educate me on this.

Certainly we could take 100k pounds off of Coach Stud and apply that to the Recruiting budget.

i have a hard time believing this is a big issue.
lsu fans saw a list of budgets with lsu low coupled with us losing a couple instate kids, now everyone is freaking out like we're poor.
we recruit and land kids from new jersey, north carolina, and california. If Miles needed more money he could get it.
Losing instate kids like CROB and Hootie is not because of a lack of recruiting budget.

Both the academic and athletic recruiting budgets are not enough. Bobby Jindal says he wants to keep the best and brightest people in state but his budget cuts say otherwise.
