Not to be a dick, but I ate at the one in Houston over Memorial Day weekend and I didn't think it was as good as most frozen Chinese dinners. You can get better meals by going to any random Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai place in any shopping center in South Louisiana.

Come on now... Pei Wei is much better than the generic order by picture/number Chinese joints that inhabit most of the US. If nothing else the quality of food is consistent and the place isn't roach infested. With PF Changs behind it I dont mind stopping thru for a meal from time to time. I'd argue that their Kung Pao chicken is among the better ones I've had.

Yeah I think it's much better than the standard take out place and cheaper too. Kung pao steak and pad Thai are the only things I've ordered, but thought they were really good considering the price and quality.

I'm with Wiltz. It may not be 5-star, but to compare it to Panda Express is a joke. At least they prepare to order.

I will just say this. If you like PF Changs, you will probably like Pei Wei. If not, then probably not...
