Rose Bowl likes their tradition... they threw a tantrum when TCU made it a few years back. Remember how they bent backward to pick Illinois? I know they picked Texas/Oklahoma but there weren't any worthwhile teams to replace them those years. Cal in 2004 maybe had a complaint
