I know it varies on CTR. Let's assume CTR is 1%. What would be the revenue? Links are always appreciated!
Revenue also varies wildly depending on cost per click, which can be 1 cent up to $5 or more. Without knowing the topic of the site, CPC is impossible to estimate. You will need to research this yourself, and I think Google's Adsense tools can help you estimate.
It might be obvious by now that, if you can accurately estimate your traffic, CTR, and CPC, the math to estimate revenue is pretty straightforward:
Traffic X CTR X CPC = Revenue
150,000 X 0.01 X $0.25 = $375
Typically, general topic sites have relatively high traffic, low CTR, and low CPC, while niche sites have relatively low traffic, but high CTR and high CPC.
If your CTR/CPC is pretty low, then I think Google offers CPM ads, as well. These pay per thousand impressions, and clicks don't matter. They will probably even help you decide which will work better for your site.
