agree, and the narrative has moved around some lately. 2011 the media (and Saban) really hammered the "2 best teams" concept home. Last year Notre Dame clearly wasn't one of the "2 best teams". Part of the greatness of college football has been that these late games are basically elimination games. I really fear a committee trying to decide who the "4 best teams" are.
