Yes, but most schools, even the top seeds, travel at some point in the playoffs. I think the system can definitely be tweaked.

Also, any home field advantage that exist only does so because of not having to travel. As long as the crowd is behind your team, you make some money, and you don't have to travel much, I don't see why Acadiana wouldn't want to host a semifinal game @ Cajunfield.

The only exception, IMO, would be someone like Allen High School in Texas. They would be downgrading if they played at any directional schools...

Been there, done that. Acadiana hosted West Monroe at Cajun Field in the semifinals in 2001. West Monroe won 41-13 with Alley Broussard scoring with a minute left to make it look closer than it was.
