Help me out. Have no idea what I'm looking at.

Any safety issues at the San Siro?

No. There's a lot of people on this board that like to denigrate Serie A but there's not any likely danger in going to a match as a normal fan.

The bad things people read about happen between ultras groups or at worst huge groups of vocal opposing fans and don't really happen in Italy any more than elsewhere in Europe.

The only thing that's not a great idea in Italy is to sit on the curva with the ultras as there'll be wasted fans shooting flares but those seats are sold out anyway.

Also, there can be fights in areas around the stadiums but it's not random and easily avoided by walking the other way if you see it the same way you'd avoid a bunch of drunks getting into a fight in a American city.

The best way to get tickets is to simply go the team's website and see where the closest official team store is to where you're staying/visiting in a city and stop by to get tickets. You have to have IDs for everyone who you're buying a ticket for with you.
