Not a huge NASCAR fan, but it's competition, thus a sport; thus "athlete", I guess.

But in a way, that makes Jeff Gordon's drop even more surprising- I'm gonna guess he can get the best mechanics and equipment, and his car should be top-notch. He's "older" but not old enough to where he should be losing his skills. If anything, he should be "craftier" now.

Same with Tiger, it's not like he's no longer in shape to play competitive golf, but his scandal sure did blow up his world. He went from untouchable to good.

For major athletes who aren't aging, like someone else said- Dwight Howard sure did plummet.

Another is Nnamdi Asomugha- went from premier CB and the biggest free agent prize, to cut and sitting on the couch.
