What if your only cover is thigh high marsh grass like in Biloxi marsh?

You have to build a blind that you can pull the boat into. Drive some posts in the marsh and use 2x4's to build a frame. Bundle an arm full of rozo canes, zip tie the middle, cut the bottom. Attach the brush to the outside of the frame and you have a boat blind. Keep it as low as possible.

Cut some small shrubs, stick them in the ground lining them up in the front and back of you, then lift the marsh grass to lean up against the shrubs. You can obviously do the same to the sides but leave one side open for an entrance. We use a pirogue when hunting this type of blind and just sink it or cover it in marsh grass.

I dont hunt from the boat in biloxi marsh. The ground is more solid then other places. I park the boat away from ahere i am hunting and pirogue in. Then i sit on the waters edge up against some of the taller grasses/ bushes and i'll usually bring a cut piece of brush from the road on the drive in and put it between me and the sun.
