I disagree with nearly everything you said

Panthers are more important, yes. That's about it...

This game is huge. I honestly don't expect to win. But it's still a huge game. Homfield is just as important for the Saints, if not moreso

Ok, try to think objectively, not as a fan of either team.

One team is up-and-coming, with a 2nd yr QB. Prior to this year (and really, this season too, until about 2 weeks ago), the big focus was to keep their lead in the division over a team that had just went to the Super Bowl, not so much to win out and have the best overall record (and prepare specifically for the playoffs). They NEED homefield advantage, in my opinion. I think they may crack on the road in January.

The other team is filled with coaches and key players (QB, RB, WR, with a few also on defense) who've already been to the Super Bowl and won it. Homefield would be nice, but I don't think a necessity.

If there's going to be a rematch, I see it this way: we win Monday, we blow them out in the Dome the next time around. We lose Monday, I still think that if you could pick any NFL team (Broncos with Manning, Pats with Brady, Green Bay with healthy Rodgers etc), the Saints with Brees will give you as good a shot as you'd get, for 1 game to get to the Super Bowl. When you add in the fact that the Saints will have just played them in Seattle in a big environment, that tells me that the crowd (usu a big factor) won't make the difference; maybe the first game, but not the second one.

What was it, 2011, that we lost at Lambeau to Green Bay on opening night? I think the home field did help the Packers; but if we had a rematch, it wouldn't have been as much, cuz we'd been through it once already. And that was at the start of the year- this will be within 2 months.
