Have you or any of the 4 other guys you talk with ever expressed the level of outrage over Rivers that shamelesspel has?
Is this really all about Rivers or the culmination of watching Monty fail at developing another young guard? There is palpable apathy/uneasiness when it comes to Monty Williams and the fanbase right now. Rivers is the next big thing that will showcase Monty as a stubborn, talentless mule of a coach. Every guard/wing not named Vasquez has arguably played their best basketball under the tutelage of coaches NOT named Monty Williams.

The fact is it's becoming more and more obvious that Monty just does not understand the game of basketball through the eyes of the perimeter. He is, quite frankly, borderline great developing big men and developing personal relationships with his players. The list of bigs he made better is almost as impressive as the list of guards he's made worse.
It doesn't detract from the fact that most of the average fans are wondering what the hell happened considering their expectations (fair or unfair) for this team heading into this season. Davis is better than any of us could have imagined and we still look mediocre at best right now.
But yes, use your message board "currency" to show how much of a superfan you are compared to the rest of us. We will see who's right if Rivers continues to sit on the bench with DNP-CD's while Holiday/Roberts play bad basketball. I stand by it. The frustration is building no matter how much internet monies is spent arguing the opinion.

With you, it's all about Rivers and it couldn't be more clear.
