Can buy new stock and in box was a 50% off adult stock coupon.
Gonna paint the mag hot orange on the portions that will not be seen while it is in the gun. And gonna have a zippered pouch put on the sling to hold the mag.
Will likely add a muzzle brake to this one too. And may custom dip it or just paint it myself.
Got to sight it in and find that sweet round for it first. I'm thinking the Hornaday Lite SST

May want to see how well he can handle the recoil before getting the brake. The break will sure make it louder.
If you decide on the diy, you might consider Alumahyde II. I painted the action and barrel of an XP-100 w/ it and was pleased. Looking forward to seeing how well it holds up.
