Yes, they were roasted. Not sure where franks is made, but it's become one of my favorites. It doesn't taste like a ripoff. It's got a more buffalo sauce flavor than any local sauces I've had.
And I'm actually not sure if they roast then put the sauce on, or sauce then roast.

because franks is what is used in any authentic wing place in all of western new york. it is the original buffalo wing sauce.
