I think what this shows is that nobody had the slightest clue how this would all work. Obama led the charge (lie) about "keeping your plan if you like it".

The truth is insurance companies have been working to make sure their plans fit into the criteria under the Gold, Silver and Bronze Plans. Most of the plans being dropped are plans the insurance companies actually lose money on, not saying all. The promise Obama made was that the Feds could deliever the database with exchanges for the insurance companies.

Well Obama couldn't deliever and whats the worst part is he is now trying to blame the insurance companies for not offering customers their old plans. I mean the balls on this guy! Anyway the insurance companies are in limbo until the site can be fixed, plus the entire pool of patients in the exchange are sickly and costly patients. I have no idea how you can even fix these problems. If Obama has a Republican House and Senate his final 2 years it's going to be knife fight.

I agree with everything in this post. However I don't feel bad for any of them frick the insurance companies they helped write the bill to begin with because lets face it what could be better for the health insurance market than making it a requirement for everyone to have it.

Any type of healthcare reform should come in addressing real concrete problems in the system. Healthcare has a scarcity problem, lets address that like we would a food problem. We'd reward people for growing more food, so lets reward people for taking on medical professions. Lets make it simple to go to a nurse when you're just a little sick or need a checkup.

If Obama had no clue, then who is running the show? Whoever wrote this legislation must have lied straight up to these senators and Obama.
