It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to call the Blocking Assignments and Pick up Blitzes. I think so far some of these so called 3,4, and 5's or whatever are more like 1's and 2's. As far as Recruiting all these Stars I think they need to find some good Football Players with some Gray Stuff between the ears.

Let's not forget Les spent 20+ seconds to "setup a FG block" against OM..... So at LSU, it does not take a Rocket Scientist, but it does take the head coach to call fundamental football plays that are (hopefully) run routinely at practices.

Coaching changes in certain positions may be helpful. Don't blame it all on players.

Is it more than likely that every player that we recruited playing on defense is not getting it or now lacks talent, (11 guys) or one or two coaches aren't doing the best job?

Look at last year, everyone was saying Mett was a disappointment, OBJ and Landry were dropping passes, etc. Now look at how they play differently in one year under one new coach.

This year is a prime example of how the right coach can get help the players play to their full potential.

But is a trend every year with the OL. We can't help injuries, but almost every season, we either hear or have reason to believe that the OL will be a strength, and they are rarely above average.
