Agreed. Difficult to kill. But I killed a huge 8 point back in 1999 with a .223. Field dressed at 220ish lbs. Dropped him. Shot shoulder high bullet came out the top of his back and slit his back bone. Paralyzing his back legs. He was still alive trying to get up but couldn't. Had to pop him in his neck twice for him to die. Needless to say those .223 bullets don't do hardly any damage.
