It does not work. A spy means he can just dance around back there, to and fro, picking his target, and it's usually the one the spy should be covering.

The only way to disrupt Manziel is to hold the middle and send rushers from the corners... and to tell those blitzers to watch for that spin move he's sure to try. Send them early, often, late and every time in between... if he hits a few long gainers because of the blitz just suck it up and keep at it. He wants to hit Evans long, anyway... and that usually takes time. Don't give it to him.

Football, by the way, is not rocket science.

Had to fit some condescending shite in there, or else it wouldn't be a certified "Rex"?

You are a lot better here than on poli talk.

But it doesn't matter with this defense. I was one of those all along saying that if we were gonna be burned, might as well do it blitzing. But not anymore. I've come to realize that it doesn't matter what we do. We are truly fricked. Johnny going in dry.

Welter spies guards and tackles. Then he moves in for the bear hug.

2012 LSU vs aTm

Manziel: 29/56, 276 yds, 0 TD, 3 INTs
17 carries for 27 yds.

STFU and let Chavis do his thing. He's proven he knows a strategy that can work and you are just an anonymous poster on a forum, not a coach at a big time CFB program.

Mills would be the best option to spy Johnny. Or I guess Alexander, but getting mills out of any potential coverage opportunity would be beneficial.

His strategy last year was perfect for Manziel. He sent Mingo/Montgomery crashing off the edges and it really ate him up. The good news is this year Hunter appears to have amazing speed for a DE similar to Mingo. The bad news is Hunter has been below average all year...

I'm almost positive Chavis will use Eugene as the spy. Which is scary to think about to be honest.
