It's all about the Johnson. Jimmy's not the dominate driver he was back in his prime, but the guy is just on another plane compared to his peers. It always boggles me how one team can dominate the way his does, year after year after year.

It may be related to the fact that his crew chief has been penalized for cheating more than any other crew chief in the sport.

He has never been the best/dominant driver.
He is just the best at accumulating points. He never gets more than the car he has under him. When he has a 6th place type car, he races for 6th.
He only wins when his car is the best.
