Alot of people are going to recommend putting some chocolate in there...... Don't do it. It ruined the chili the one time I've had it with chocolate

Might as well add cinnamon too...
Personally, I like my chili spicy, not sweet.

Probably had too much in it. It should just have a hint of it in there to give it kind of a mole taste.
