If he doesn't leave this year to take the Texas job, he will probably be retiring in the near future.
There's no evidence to suggest Saban is considering a leap to Texas, other than unsupported rumor and a statement by his agent, which was intended to extort more cash out of Alabama. There's also nothing to suggest he'll be retiring soon. Based on what? Saban is 62 and on cruise control. I can see him being there 5-8 more yrs.
As someone posted, LSU's success shouldn't be gauged on who is or isn't coaching Alabama.

So u are saying we need a new DB coach?
Yes. People love to excuse the lack of talent he's had to work with at DB, but the fall off in DB play wasn't just due to the loss of TM7.
Raymond's history as a DB coach isn't even that great. He had 1 year at Nebraska and people want to claim he is the reason for Dennard somehow getting drafted when the kid was playing like a stud in the year before Raymond got there.
In the end, the development or lack there of over the last two seasons can't just be blamed on talent when talented guys from 2011 defense struggled under his coaching the next year.
