When we've had to make traps with only posts and panels, this is how we did it. Leave one panel of the corral straight, and bend the last panel around the last post and let it "spring" back into panel 1 (arrow). Bait around and into this funnel. They push their way in and can't escape. If last panel loses spring action, use bungee cord near top of the panel.

I did not put that in the trap thread but, add a few extra T post where the two panels come together in the above picture on the outside of the trap.
also you can use a stick to hold the panels apart at that spot with a trip trigger similar to the ones in my thread.
Believe it or not I am not done with that thread. I was experiencing technical difficulties and time constraints I was actually planning on updating it this evening.
