Anyone else notice this trend? If you follow WWL, WAFB, WBRZ or any other local news outlet on Facebook or Twitter and see some of the comments about LSU football, you'll see quite a good bit of people saying "roll tide" and go Bama.

Is it strictly bandwagon, or did a massive amount of people relocate from Alabama to Louisiana?

These are bullshite, white-trash, T-shirt fans in the trailer parks. Not actual lifetime fans or alumni. Don't fool yourself

Bandwagon all the way, baby. I've met these people on the streets & I've met these people during turnarounds/shutdowns in plants. They are the de facto definition of fairweather fans.

it is bandwagon...and is predictable...

I see the same thing here in MS...when bama wins, I see a whole lot more mississippians pulling for bama...

It is suprising how fickle people are, really...

Bandwagoners. Same people were cheering for Florida when Tebow was there and USC and Miami before that. These people are probably all ULL fans.

Sidewalk fans like most Bama fans who didn't attend the school.

It's like that up here in Ohio as well. It seems every redneck in the country that can tie themselves to Alabama, be it that they are from there or lived there for a year, is jumping on the bandwagon to build their self esteem. Let em go for it if it helps.

Speaking of wafb can anyone tell me why they had Saban's after game press conference on live last night. This was a slap in the face. Why the hell would I care what Saban has to say?

Houston is no different. All of a sudden, I live around tons of Bama people. I have been here 12 years and never knew this many bama fans were here until 5 years ago.

They aren't Bama fans. They are people who don't like LSU and want to piss people off. I work with a bunch who don't follow football but act like they love Saban and Bama all of a sudden.

Yes, lots of Bama flags around New Orleans and a large Alumni association here. They are now advertising the university. It really sucks.

It's bandwagon....Saban is putting together an unprecedented run that no one would ever expect in today's game. Parity was supposed to be king.

Here in Georgia, the band wagon is epic. One of the FM stations to start this season became a BAMA flagship sports station....in Georgia....

ULL fans or New Orleans natives.

They aren't fans so much as just haters of everything LSU and/or Baton Rouge.

I can't imagine anyone LSU alums supporting Bama unless they have deep family ties.

I also don't expect all Louisiana folks to support LSU.

Living in Louisiana does not equal being an LSU fan.

Those are just bandwagon fans that are insecure and have low self-esteem. They constantly change their allegiance to the team that is currently the most successful. It makes them feel better about themselves because when their team is successful it makes them feel successful. They are just trying to fill that empty void in their life of amounting to something.
