Where is our defense coming from?

We have been able to stand up to Alabama in the past because of defense and run game. Where is the defense?

Bama will roll. Please tell me why I am wrong.

The one ranked #22 in the nation on total defense who played 9 straight games?

This bye gave the defense some time to heal and get fresh legs.

Our defense has taken 154 more snaps than the Alabama defense has this season. Sure, we played 1 more game to date, but if you remove our per game average we still were on the field for nearly 1.5 more games (snap-wise) than Alabama's defense.

It's amazing that we are ranked where we are on defense considering that stat.

Physical and mental fatigue took it's toll on us and led to the flatness you saw vs Ole Miss and the 1H vs Furman.

Our offense will be able to move the ball. This Alabama defense is not as good as they were last year and lsu could move the ball when needed. (The last drive last year is invalid.) I know LSU's defense is extremely young and inexperienced. Notice i didn't say BAD defense, INEXPERIENCED. This defense can make a stop when needed. If our starting defense and offense scrimmaged during the off week then seeing Alabama's offense will not be anything new to the defense. If LSU has the same attitude as you then i guess yes, we will get "rolled".
