First one not to be a May release? And I would like some confirmation on story. The New Jedi Order is such a great series but can you condense it into three movies and properly explain Jacen, Jaina, Anakin, Mara Jade, Corran Horn, Kyle Katarn, Kyp Durron etc?

That is why Lucas made the grave mistake of not doing 789 when he did the prequels. Prequels using different actors of course could be done literally at any time.

Here is how I would adapt the NJO to three movies. Make Jaina Solo the main character with the older actors (other than Luke and Wedge) primarily background actors

Movie 7 - Vector Prime. Yuuzhan Vong invasion starts. New Republic does nothing originally. Luke and the NJO debate the course of action to take again the Vong (personified in this debate between Kyp Durron and Corran Horn). Film ends with the Vong dropping the moon on Coruscant (instead of Sendipal) killing Chewbacca.

Movie 8 - Rebel Dream

Wedge, Luke, Han, Leia, Lando, Jaina, and the NJO plot the Insiders movement in order to sacrifice the New Republic because of their appeasement of the Vong invasion. Battle of Borealias/Jaina's temptations of the Dark Side.

Movie 9 - Rebel Stand

Conclusion of the Vong War. Establishment of the Galactic Alliance (which is the remnant of the new republic, the Hapans, the imperial remnant, as one goverment). Jacen going missing is the big mystery/cliffhanger if they ever want to do 10 11 12.
