his family is fairly successful and knows how to take care of money.

Flynn's never going to retire. Never taking any hits is going to allow him to spend a half season on a roster somewhere well into his sixties.

It's pretty incredible how much they aren't prepared to deal with their money. Get a modest home in a good neighborhood, 2 vehicles, and help your parents out..... if you want.
