Bruce did have a great year. But he wasn't close IMO. .262/.329/.478 in 697 PAs is very good. But Hunter Pence for example slashed .283/.339/.483 in 687 PAs in a much tougher ballpark. There were guys who were better.

Doubles: 3rd (1st among OF)
RBI: 2nd (1st among OF)
OPS+: 7th
If those aren't Silver Slugger numbers, I don't know what is.
