I don't think anyone is worried about Mett and the offense. It's the defense this year that is lacking. I understand that Mett blew the first half against Ole Miss, but ultimately he put us back in a situation to win the game and our defense blew it (and was terrible in the first half.)

If we can smack McCarron in the mouth, just get one decleater on him early, I think he will begin to make mistakes and fear will creep in. wont be surprised if he runs back to Mommy to feed:

Yes this is the key to the game and we will know early if they do this or they don't. If they don't the rest should be clear. If they do we got a shot.

I agree with you Murple.

My point was more along the lines that if Mett plays like he can, and like he has against Bama, we will have a chance for victory.

And like others have said, the pressure is all on Bama. Which will give our D some help, IMHO.
