It is a hard one. It would have never happened in LA or NY. So you have to give them some points for that.

It was a hard one because at the time, he was a sixth man. He went from being a sixth man to the sixth best player in the NBA (give or take).

They should have amnestied Perkins and figured it out but the small market thing does hurt so it really isn't fair.

I've said for a long time I liked Harden more than Westbrook. Westbrook reminds me of Steve Francis. If he loses burst, then he isn't great at anything. Harden doesn't rely on athleticism the same way. I thought a few years ago that they should have traded Westbrook for tons of picks and then drafted early because Westbrook can't carry a team.

That being said, because it was salary driven by money it can't be the worst of all time. OKC can't compete with LA and NYC.
