I saw your link. Several in the post were defending Carvins. I'm someone who is going to record at home and occasionally rock out in my underwear. Not going to be playing nightly in da clubs...unless I quit my day job.

I've always wanted to get a Marshall. I think they are overpriced and it's more about principle. After looking on ebay at how much people want for used ones, then it does make the purchase easier.

Has anyone every bought a factory restock or return? Any nightmares?

Check Craigslist, pawn shops, etc.

A friend of mine bought a 100w tube Fender amp at a pawnshop for 250 bucks. The guy said it didn't work. My bud plugged in the head and voila, it worked.

He called Fender, it was made in May, 1969.

It will rock your world.
