I watched some of those games when he was at IU on ESPN back in the day (Randle El was good for some exciting football), and their issue was defense and lack of talent. I don't think he'd have those issues at LSU (again, if he can recruit and put a staff together).

Pardon me, but about that 1-15 record at Miami. Cameron took over as HC of the Miami team after Saban left to go to Alabama. Saban was 6-10 in 2006 with a great defense but anemic offense that was playing its third string QB at end of season.

CC took over same team and in 2007 went 1-15.
