he can attract good coaches. granted, it might take him too long to figure out when he needs to change, but he can get good hires.

His players like playing for him.

that's all that comes to mind right now. I'm not a miles hater, but I don't believe in him anymore. with equal talent, he can put his team up against anybody, normally. You have to give him some credit, looking at his track record.

but he has shown in big games and games against lesser opponents he likes to play games too close and lean on his defense.

bama, Oregon, come out attacking on offense instead of feeling out the opponent. and they don't quit trying to score until the game is really, really over.
