I wouldn't do it long term, but if you have a hobby that you could work retail to get discounts/talk shop it could be enjoyable.
Ex. Skeet range, Edwin Watts/PGA Superstore/Golfsmith, Tennis Shop, etc.
I like golf and wouldn't mind starting a little side business doing club work only because I'd like an excuse to buy all of the stuff to tinker with my clubs. I have no illusions that it would ever make any money though.
