The A&M mods seem to all think that pulling Speedy and Willis to A&M is going to be nearly impossible. However, posters on the boards, similar to the posters on this board, continue to post that they hear from those "close to the situation" that A&M has a really good shot. I don't feel good about getting any Louisiana guys to A&M this year, which is very disappointing, our hit rate with these guys the past 5 years has been really good. Maybe Kenny Young? Must be something in the water, Lousiana guys can play.

I really don't know WTF is going on with Kenny Young. There doesn't seem to be a whole bunch of mutual interest between he and LSU. That could change, and I think he would chose LSU if we pushed, but I don't see that happening.

Exactly now many recruiting battles over La kids have the Aggies won over the last five years anyway? A+M's biggest La kid over the last five years was Michaels who didn't have an LSU offer.

I really do like having A+M in the SEC because they add to the overall strength of the conf. so it isn't that I don't respect the program. I just don't see them coming into La and taking kids from the Tigers at will.

There are a few great reasons for a receiver and a DT to see LSU as their best opportunity in this class.
