I don't know why people keep saying that. MTV still lets him host after shows and what not. If he was banned from MTV, he wouldn't have any affiliation.

Different level of liability in sending them to another country and hosting a web aftershow.

From people on the Vevmo site that would know, MTV will not take that liability. Totally different of them sitting in a studio and hosting a show.
