I've said this over and over, but it doesn't sink in apparently. Saban teams tend to come out flat after a layoff. He overprepares, gets bogged down in minutiae or something. This has been true going back to Michigan State.

Saban is not a god, people, and he's not infallible. His team is not ten feet tall. Will it be a tough game? Sure, but it's a winnable game. Very winnable.

First of all you will not see LSU get a bye, and Saban not get a bye as well before this matchup. Saban will not let that happen.

Will Saban have his boys ready, you bet. Why? Because he knows like we all do, that this is the one team has the talent to match them. He knows that if this team were to rise up, come into Tuscaloosa prepared, and play to their potential, he could have trouble winning this game.

He knows LSU will always be his main roadblock each year that can keep him from going where he wants to go. He will always have this date circled.
