Waterproof/resistant pants

Figured I'd come to the ob to ask this question. My work attire is business casual(polo and dress pants) but I am in and out of the car all day. When it's raining this can become very uncomfortable. Are there any pants out in the market that are water resistant yet still acceptable to wear to work? Tia

Why not get a frogg togg gear and slip it over the other closes as needed. It is very light weight...

there a few brands that make dress pants for bike commuters that should be water resistant
might be too hipsterish though![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I got some water proof pants/jacket at the army surplus store in Keithville years ago that work great. I guess showing up in camo would be frowned upon. Some frog toggs would work too, or you could just scotch guard the hell out of your clothes.

Check out some waterproof golf pants. Most of them will be lighter and built like slacks.
"Under Armour- Cold Gear Elements Storm" pants are about $85 and come in a few different colors. They are windproof and water resistant.
You might also find some at Stein Mart on Line Ave. When you walk in, turn left, and they have a large golf attire section in the corner. I bet they have some water resistant pants for a decent price.

How often of a problem is it? Can't you just use an umbrella and stay dry those 2 days per month when it rains???

Look at Filson tin pants. Expensive, but their gear is top notch
