Rice and Johnson are very different receivers. Rice routinely turned 8 yard slants into 40 yard gains. CJ can out duel double teams on jump balls.

Rice maximized every gift he had through hard work, CJ is a natural.

Yet Megatron is much faster than Rice. The more you know......

I do agree Megatron is a completely different receiver than Rice. Rice relied on his incredible route running and hands. Megatron relies on his ridiculous mixture of speed and size. Rice played with 2 of the best qbs ever throwing to him and Megatron is in an offense that throws a lot. There is too many unknowns to clearly say 1 is clearly better than the other.

It pains me to say this, because Rice is my favorite player of all time, but if I had to choose 1 to build my team around, I'm taking Megatron. You could teach catching and routing running, you can't teach size and speed.

Would deion be able or willing to tackle him once? No way deion's soft release would win out against megatron. This would be embarrassing in my opinion and deion was great, but not physical enough to win this matchup.
