the loss of him, Tyrann and Brooks, who played an understated but very important role, left holes we still have not filled. the Miles/Chavis haters are incapable of understanding how difficult it is for the staff to build continuity and measured progress in a program that attracts and who's roster is largely comprised of kids whose committment to their families financial well being far outweighs their obligations to LSU. bama has, as we speak, five 5thyr seniors and their current record is indicative of that luxury. how they do it is open to debate but it is the world we live in and we have to deal with it.

I think the constant rollover of starters due to the NFL Draft is something that bears watching over the next few years. Miles is confronting reality when he sells guys on the notion of three-and-done, but it can work against you as well.
