just explaining how chavis is doing the best with what he can this season, and is still fielding a top 25 defense. Anyone who think this season indicates chavis is an "average" DC either doesnt know shite about defense, or is a complete fairweather fan.

and as i'm a betting man, i'll lay 3-1 odds on 200 bucks that LSU finishes in the top 15 in total d next season.

i love the chief. i actually can understand what the D is going thru this yr. my only real problem is how louis isn't playing MLB but welter is.

i'm actually more alarmed at the chief last yr. the end of bama, sc, clemson, ole miss, etc. we won some of those but it wasn't necessarily bc of defense.

i know a competent offense could've gotten a win vs florida but we got drilled that game. ust manhandled.

ole miss was a team loss but there wasn't a doubt in my mind that they were gonna march down for a TD or FG attempt.
